Maldon Cookshop opened its first shop in September 2004. Since then it has grown to be one of the areas premier cookware stockists, stocking such brands as Joseph Joseph, Nigella Lawson, SimpleHuman, Global knives, Dualit, Magimix, Cuisipro, E-cloth and Le Creuset. In 2007 it joined the online community with its own branded website. Expert advice is always on hand and a willingness to order anything not currently in stock is part of the service to our customers.

Situated just 40 miles to the north-east of London via the A12 and A414, Maldon lies on the estuary of the Blackwater River and traditional river industries like salt making (Maldon Salt – favoured by many top chefs) and oyster fishing still flourish.

The town of Maldon is one of the oldest recorded towns in Essex, with an entry in the Doomsday Book.
