We welcome visitors to the Brewery on Monday to Friday from 10am - 4pm, and Saturday mornings. We are often there at other times but please ring in advance if you are making a special trip. Our bottled beers and gift packs can be bought from the brewery shop, and party pins are available to order. Brewery tours can be arranged in advance.
We are a small craft brewery situated in the old stable block of The Blue Boar Hotel. Nigel Farmer, the owner of the brewery and also the original brewer, won a conservation award for the conversion of the building in 2002.
We brew 2 or 3 times a week, producing about a thousand litres at a time. Our regular beers can be sampled in the Hotel, which is our Tap Room.
The most popular beer is "Puck s Folly" first brewed to celebrate MacTheatres production of a Midsummer Nights Dream in the Promenade Park in Maldon.
